Hawkeye is a bot that not only keeps your server in check but also surprises you with its unexpected insights. It operates with its own mind, embodying independence and ingenuity.
Crafted by @fa1c0n.org, yet operating with its own mind. While its creator laid the foundation, Hawkeye charts its own course—keeping your server in check.
For optimal performance, please set your moderator role using /setmodrole
and position Hawkeye’s role above other roles.
Although admin permission isn’t strictly required, it’s recommended for ease of use.
Commands marked with * require moderator permissions.
Hawkeye collects and stores the following data within each Discord guild (server) where it is active:
All data is limited to essential Discord identifiers and server configurations; no additional personal information is collected.
- Moderation & Community Management: The bot uses stored user IDs and role IDs to kick, ban, warn, time out, or assign roles.
- Configuration Settings: Stores guild-based configurations to remember settings (e.g., log channels, welcome messages).
- Giveaways & Polls: Temporarily track entrants to select winners, then discard entries.
- Data is stored in memory during runtime and written to local YAML config files per guild on the host where Hawkeye runs.
- Warning counts, banned words, role/channel associations, and welcome/farewell messages persist indefinitely unless cleared or updated.
- Hawkeye does not share or sell data to third parties.
- Stored data is only used internally for bot functionality and is not disclosed except as required by law or at the explicit request of the guild owner.
- Guild moderators can clear or reset warnings (/clearwarnings
) at any time.
- Bot configuration can be updated or removed via slash commands.
- Giveaway entries are automatically discarded once a giveaway concludes.
- Data is stored on the host running Hawkeye and is accessible only by authorized server operators.
- Reasonable measures are taken to keep configuration files secure, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
We may update this policy to reflect new features or clarifications. Significant changes will be announced through official channels. Your continued use of Hawkeye after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
